Chainlink Nears $10 as Institutional Demand Surges
Chainlink (LINK) is trading near $10 after a surge in institutional demand and bullish signals. The token's price has gained 1.31% with a market capitalization of $7.1 billion, indicating a potential break out from a multi-year downtrend. According to technical indicators and positive funding rates, Chainlink may be poised for further upward momentum.
Bitwise's acquisition of 171,870 LINK tokens worth $1.7 million has contributed to the growing institutional interest in the token. This is reflected in consecutive inflows into Chainlink ETFs totaling over $3.5 million. Open interest in LINK futures has reached about 29 million tokens, the highest since a major market drop in October.
The shift of Wyoming's Frontier Stable Token cross-chain infrastructure from LayerZero to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) following a security review may also boost the token's prospects. This move could potentially increase the token's adoption and usage, contributing to its growing value.
