Chainlink Powers Blockchain Release of US Economic Data
The US Commerce Department has partnered with Chainlink to publish official economic data on public blockchains. The data comes from the Bureau of Economic Analysis and covers three key indicators: real GDP, the PCE Price Index, and Real Final Sales to Private Domestic Purchasers.
Each indicator is available through two feeds, one reporting the current level and the other showing the quarter-over-quarter change at an annualized rate. The six feeds are live across 10 networks, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Botanix, Linea, Mantle, Optimism, Sonic, and ZKsync.
Chainlink's feed infrastructure holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 1 certifications. This arrangement builds on an August 2025 program where the Commerce Department used Pyth Network to place BEA data on blockchains including Bitcoin and Solana.
