Chainlink Powers Nuva's Blockchain-Based Real Estate Credit Marketplace
Nuva, a decentralized marketplace backed by Animoca Brands and Nuva Labs, has partnered with Chainlink to bring institutional-grade real estate credit onto the blockchain.
The partnership aims to connect retail crypto holders with yield-bearing instruments tied to residential real estate, which have historically been walled off by minimum investment thresholds and opaque servicing arrangements.
Nuva's flagship tokens, nvYLDS and nvPRIME, represent an asset base valued around $19 billion. nvYLDS passes short-term U.S. Treasury returns directly through to crypto holders, while nvPRIME offers onchain exposure to institutional-grade U.S. home equity lines of credit.
The partnership relies on Chainlink's exclusive data infrastructure to deliver tamper-resistant valuation data for the assets, enabling collateral pricing and lending management. This integration is key to making tokenized real-world assets composable across DeFi protocols.
