Chainlink Powers Tokenized Securities Framework Launch in Hong Kong
Chainlink has joined forces with other leading companies to launch the Tokenized Securities Framework (TSF) in Hong Kong. This framework aims to support the full lifecycle of tokenized securities, including issuance, distribution, compliance, and settlement.
The TSF addresses challenges that have limited institutional adoption of tokenized assets by providing interoperability between blockchain networks and compliance with financial regulations. Chainlink's CCIP and ACE will provide cross-chain interoperability, policy enforcement, and identity management features.
Participating companies include FORMS HK, Apex Group, CSpro, Blockchain Valley@Cyberport, and others. The initiative reflects Hong Kong's approach of developing blockchain infrastructure alongside existing financial markets.
The development follows Chainlink's recent involvement in institutional digital asset markets, including its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) integration with BitGo to support the migration of Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC). This highlights growing demand for interoperability solutions as tokenized assets expand across multiple blockchain ecosystems.
