Chainlink Price Forecasted to Reach $200 by 2030
Standard Chartered is predicting that Chainlink's native token (LINK) will reach $200 by the end of 2030. The bank points to the growing trend of tokenization, which it expects to increase from around $340 billion today to $4 trillion by the end of 2028.
In its research note 'Chainlink, Owning the rails', Standard Chartered highlights Chainlink's decentralized oracle network and Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) as key drivers of adoption and settlement in the crypto market. The bank also notes that partnerships with major financial institutions such as Swift, DTCC, Euroclear, JPMorgan, Mastercard, and UBS will contribute to Chainlink's growth.
The value of assets active in DeFi is expected to reach $2.7 trillion by 2030, creating another potential source of demand for Chainlink services. However, the bank also notes that LINK is currently facing short-term pressure, trading at around $8.25 and struggling to break above the $8.24 resistance level.
