Chainlink Price Surge: Can $9 be Next?
Chainlink's price has surged by around 4.3% over the past week to trade near $8.50, following a recent call from Standard Chartered that predicted it would reach $200 by 2030.
The bank cited Chainlink's potential role in institutional tokenization and its ability to connect blockchains with external data, allowing assets to move between different networks.
Chainlink has been expanding its presence in this area, working with companies such as Swift, Euroclear, Mastercard, Fidelity International, UBS, and ANZ, among others.
The network's cross-chain technology is also being used by BitGo for its Wrapped Bitcoin infrastructure, adding a multibillion-dollar crypto asset to the applications using Chainlink's technology.
On-chain activity has added another factor to LINK's recent price move, with a significant amount of the token leaving centralized exchanges in August.
