Chainlink Price Surges to New High as Open Interest Hits 11-Month Peak
Chainlink's (LINK) price has been on the rise, nearing an 8-month high after increasing by $13.64 on September 7. This marks the first time Chainlink has reached this price since January 18, 2026.
The surge in price comes amid a significant increase in open interest to $784 million, according to CoinGlass data. Analyst Chris Barret noted that the network has now facilitated $34 trillion in transactions.
Chainlink's DeFi TVL (Total Value Locked) has also seen a surge, increasing from $33.98 billion on August 7 to $40.02 billion at the time of writing, a gain of $6.04 billion in one month.
