Chainlink Soars 5% on Partnership with Financial Tech Firm Bottomline
Chainlink's price surged by over 5% to $11.68 following the announcement of its partnership with Bottomline, a leading financial technology firm that provides payment processing and cash management services to banks and corporations.
The collaboration aims to connect existing payment infrastructures with both public and private blockchain networks, enabling cross-chain and cross-border payments for over 600 banking clients.
Bottomline processes more than $16 trillion in annual payments and will integrate Chainlink's interoperability solutions, including its Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Runtime Environment (CRE), to enable on-chain payment options while continuing to rely on legacy messaging standards such as ISO 20022.
The technical indicators suggest a bullish structure for Chainlink, with the price currently trading above major technical averages, including the 20-day, 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day exponential moving averages (EMAs).
