Chainlink Surges Past $10.60 on Regulatory and Infrastructure Developments
Chainlink (LINK) has seen its price surge above $10.60 following two significant developments in the network's ecosystem. At a recent White House technology event, Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov discussed the impact of US regulatory changes on stablecoins, stating that they are expanding adoption.
Nazarov highlighted the GENIUS Act and the use of US government debt in stablecoin reserves as factors contributing to this growth. He also mentioned that tokenized stocks could follow a similar path towards wider adoption as US rules become clearer.
In related news, Nethermind, an Ethereum engineering firm, announced that it will be joining Chainlink as a node operator. This move is expected to help secure Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Data Feeds, while providing infrastructure and integration support.
