Chainlink has launched its 'Chainlink for Agents' infrastructure to support autonomous AI agents in blockchain environments. This platform provides secure data access, cross-blockchain asset transfers, and protected transaction execution.
The Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) links offchain AI with onchain smart contracts using the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) for multi-chain operations.
Supported AI frameworks include Claude Code, Cursor, OpenClaw, Hermes, and Codex, enabling applications like automated trading, yield maximization, and inter-chain payments.
