Chainlink Whale Activity Surges Amid $200 Target Forecast
Chainlink's large-holder activity has surged to its highest level in five months. According to Santiment, 246 LINK transactions worth at least $100,000 were recorded within a 24-hour period on August 12 globally.
This increase in whale activity coincided with a near-5% price rally towards $9 for the token.
Standard Chartered recently set a long-term target of $200 per LINK by 2030, based on the assumption that tokenized assets could grow to around $4 trillion by 2028.
Despite institutional integrations, including Project Pangea involving 47 South Korean and European banks, LINK's price remains about 83% below its May 2021 record of $52.88.
