Chainlink Whale Transactions Reach Five-Month High
Chainlink's market performance has seen its strongest spike in large-holder activity in five months.
The surge in whale transactions, which have been increasing daily since March, is accompanied by a rise in supply data. Approximately 466.31 million tokens are now controlled by wallets holding between 100,000 and 10 million LINK, amounting to 46.57% of Chainlink's entire supply.
This growth in large-wallet balances has historically tracked fairly closely to LINK's market performance. The accumulation is also backed by a solid fundamental backdrop as Chainlink continues to grow beyond its conventional oracle role through the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, or CCIP.
While 246 whale transactions are not a guarantee of a quick rally, the combination of high whale activity and increasing large-wallet balances suggests that some of Chainlink's most powerful holders are becoming more engaged and accumulating.
