Chainlink Whale Transfer Sparks Selling Pressure Concerns Amid Strong Network Activity
A large Chainlink (LINK) holder transferred over $26 million worth of tokens to Coinbase, sparking concerns about potential selling pressure on the asset's price. The whale originally accumulated the tokens through Binance and moved them to Coinbase over several weeks.
While exchange deposits can indicate incoming selling pressure, Chainlink's network data paints a more complex picture. Wallet activity remains stronger than it was at the beginning of August, with new addresses increasing by 66% and active addresses growing by 58% during that period.
The integration of Chainlink's data streams and automated outcome resolution into World's standalone prediction market platform on Solana could also strengthen the network's value. However, LINK price has already fallen below a crucial support level at $12, and continued weakness could carry it towards $10.80 or even lower.
