The prediction is based on recent upgrades to the XRPL network, which include atomic transactions and permission delegation. These upgrades are expected to make the ledger more useful for institutional assets beyond just payments.

Ripple is also building out surrounding rails, investing in ZILO and Licuido, which target tokenized issuance and collateral mobility on XRPL.
