ChatGPT Predicts Bitcoin's Q3 Price Range as Market Awaits Federal Reserve Decision
Bitcoin's price has been struggling to reach $64,000 ahead of the U.S. Federal Reserve's interest rate decision on July 29. However, OpenAI's leading chatbot ChatGPT predicts a more positive outlook for the cryptocurrency in the coming weeks.
According to ChatGPT, Bitcoin is likely to end the third quarter in the $68,000-$78,000 range, with market conditions and technical indicators potentially improving. The AI model assigned the highest probability to this base-case scenario, but also acknowledged several downside risks, including the uncertainty surrounding global monetary policy.
ChatGPT noted that August and September have historically been among Bitcoin's weaker-performing months, which could be exacerbated by the ongoing uncertainty. Despite this, the AI model predicted a 30% chance that Bitcoin finishes below $60,000 and a 25% chance of a substantial rally to between $85,000 and $100,000.
The base-case prediction for Q3 2026 is set at $74,000, which would come from a measured advance rather than an explosive bull market. Institutional adoption is expected to remain a key driver of price appreciation, with continued allocations from asset managers like BlackRock providing a consistent source of demand.
