China Trade Surplus Hits Record $119 Billion in August

China's trade surplus reached $119.09 billion in August, a slight increase from the previous month's surplus of $112.5 billion.

The country's exports surged 25% year over year in August, outperforming July's growth rate of 23.9%, while imports grew by 28.2%

According to FXStreet, high demand for Chinese technology and manufacturing goods drove the export performance, with semiconductors and batteries among the key products sold.
