Chinese Robots Take Center Stage at LEAP Tech Conference
At the LEAP Tech Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Chinese robotics companies stole the show with their cutting-edge products and technologies. One of the highlights was the humanoid robots from Unitree Robotics that staged a combat demonstration in a boxing ring, complete with punches, hooks, and roundhouse kicks.
The crowd was wowed by the smooth movements and quick responses of the robots, which also impressed visitors like Ali Alshaer, who said he didn't expect robotics to have advanced this far. The robots' ability to perform a wide variety of actions left many in awe.
Other Chinese companies showcased their own innovative products, including AGIBOT's quadruped robot that drew curious onlookers and allowed visitors to ride it. This robot is designed for industrial inspections and emergency rescue, with heavy payload capacity and all-terrain adaptability.
The HONOR booth also made waves with the launch of its Robot Phone, a mass-produced phone with a fully motorised 3-axis mechanical gimbal embedded in its design. Visitors were impressed by its innovative features, which allow for professional-grade filming without needing specialized equipment.
