Chip Stocks Rebound Amid Rising Bitcoin Prices and Oil Price Drops
U.S. equities edged higher on Tuesday as chipmakers rebounded from Monday's AI-infrastructure rout.
The S&P 500 rose 0.3% to 7,673 while the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 64 points or 0.1% to 53,481.
Nasdaq 100 outperformed climbing 0.7% to 29,214 as AI-linked names bounced back from Monday's aggressive drawdown.
Bitcoin briefly topped $80,000 and is now up 25% for the month.
