Circle Internet Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Singapore-based cross-border payments infrastructure company Tazapay. The deal will integrate Tazapay's network of over 60 banking and fintech partners, as well as its local payout rails covering more than 100 markets, into Circle's ecosystem.

As of July 2026, Tazapay processes over $25 billion in annualised payment volume, with approximately 60% of its transaction volume already involving stablecoins. The company serves payment service providers and financial institutions, providing a B2B payments infrastructure.

Circle's Co-Founder, CEO, and Chairman Jeremy Allaire stated that the acquisition will accelerate USDC adoption across global payment flows. He noted that Tazapay has been a design partner for Circle Payments Network since 2025, and that the two organisations share a 'deep alignment' on digital payments infrastructure.

The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, including sign-off from the Monetary Authority of Singapore. The deal is expected to close in 2027.
