Circle has assembled an impressive lineup of validators for its Arc blockchain ahead of its September 16 mainnet launch. The list includes BlackRock, Visa, and DTCC, along with other major financial institutions like Mastercard, Standard Chartered, and Sumitomo Corporation.

Arc is a layer 1 blockchain designed specifically for stablecoin-native payments, settlement, and tokenized financial markets. It promises sub-second finality, low transaction fees denominated in USDC, and an integrated foreign exchange engine for multi-currency settlement.

BlackRock's BUIDL fund is expected to deploy on Arc with native USDC integration, while DTCC will enable the tokenization of DTC-custodied assets on the network by 2027. Other integrations are in evaluation stages at BNY and Standard Chartered.
