Circle has announced that it will be discontinuing support for USDC on the Noble blockchain by December 1, 2026. This decision effectively cuts off the primary stablecoin pipeline for the entire Cosmos ecosystem.

The move is part of Circle's migration from the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) V1 to CCTP V2, which aims to improve cross-chain transfer speed and interoperability. However, Noble, along with Aptos and Sui, will not be upgraded to use CCTP V2.

The countdown has begun, with burn limits on CCTP V1 contracts decreasing on October 31, 2026, and a complete contract pause landing on December 1, 2026. During this transition period, USDC will still be accessible through Circle Mint and popular Cosmos wallets like Keplr and Cosmostation.
