Circle Brings Native USDC to OKX's X Layer

Circle has launched native USDC and its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol on X Layer, OKX's Ethereum-compatible layer-2 network. This integration extends the stablecoin into an ecosystem connected to one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges by trading volume.

X Layer applications now have direct access to native USDC, eliminating the need for wrapped versions transferred from another blockchain. This simplifies liquidity management for developers and reduces some of the risks associated with third-party bridges.

The integration also gives X Layer users access to a widely used dollar-denominated asset for trading, lending, payments, and other decentralized finance activities.
