Circle Brings Stablecoin Boost to Nu Global's 140M-Customer Payment Network
Circle is expanding its partnership with Nu Global by bringing its USDC and EURC stablecoins to the company's international payments service. This move will allow more than 140 million of Nu's customers in over 35 countries to hold and transfer dollar- and euro-denominated balances through these stablecoins.
The integration aims to make cross-border transfers faster and easier for Nu customers, providing them with a more convenient way to manage their international payments. By supporting Nu Global's multi-currency account, users will be able to convert deposits into USDC or EURC and hold balances in dollars or euros.
Nu launched Nu Global as part of its expansion beyond its Latin American base, allowing customers to access a wider range of currencies and payment options. The partnership between Circle and Nu Global also offers attractive interest rates for users holding USDC and EURC balances, with USDC earning 3.50% APY and EURC earning 2.20% APY.
