Circle Buys Tazapay for Expanded USDC Cross-Border Payments
Circle is expanding its USDC cross-border payment infrastructure through an acquisition of Singapore-based Tazapay. The transaction will allow Circle to strengthen its ability to route payments into and out of Asia-Pacific and emerging markets.
Tazapay processes over $25 billion in annualized payment volume, with more than 60 banking and fintech partners. Its local payout network covers over 100 markets, providing additional infrastructure for routing cross-border payments.
The acquisition follows an existing relationship between the two companies. Circle was previously an investor in Tazapay's Series B financing round in August 2025.
