Circle Internet Group Inc.'s CRCL Stock Surges Amid Bitcoin Rally
Circle Internet Group Inc. (CRCL) stock has surged by 5.08 percent in premarket trading, fueled by optimism surrounding its stablecoin expansion news and a favorable policy signal from a Trump meeting with crypto executives.
The company's shares have been trending upward, following Bitcoin's push above $70,000 and its subsequent stability at around $71,000. This has lifted crypto-linked names like CRCL, which is also a component of the Global X NYSE 100.
CRCL recently jumped more than 9% after bitcoin broke through $70,000, and it added another 2% premarket pop following Circle Internet's purchase of over 680 patent families and nearly 1,000 issued patents from IBM's blockchain portfolio.
The revised Senate Republican Clarity Act aims to limit government officials from launching their own tokens but does not clamp down on private-sector players like Circle. This reduces near-term headline risk for CRCL, allowing its chart to trade more on Bitcoin news flow and technical levels.
