Circle, LuLuFin Slash Cross-Border Costs by Up to 30%
Circle and LuLu Financial Holdings (LFH) have successfully reduced cross-border settlement costs by up to 30% through the use of USDC and Circle Mint for remittance flows across the GCC, MENA, and APAC regions.
The partnership has also led to a 40% increase in settlement volume, with beneficiaries receiving credit in under one minute after settlement is completed. This represents a significant improvement over traditional correspondent-banking channels, which can be slow and costly due to time zone differences and foreign exchange friction.
LuLu Financial Holdings' Head of Business Transformation, Joseph Cleetus, noted that the adoption of USDC and Circle Mint has provided the company with settlement speed, liquidity flexibility, and operational transparency that would have been difficult to achieve with traditional infrastructure alone.
