Circle Names Founding Validators for Arc Blockchain Ahead of Public Launch
Circle has announced the founding institutional validators for its Arc blockchain network ahead of its September 16 public mainnet launch. The company has tapped BlackRock, Visa, and DTCC as validators.
The move is a significant step towards establishing Arc's credibility and security. Circle also revealed that BlackRock will be deploying its BUIDL fund on the platform, while DTCC is collaborating with Circle to develop tokenized asset infrastructure tied to DTC-custodied securities.
In addition to these major integrations, Circle said that Bank of New York (BNY) and Standard Chartered are exploring further collaborations covering digital asset custody, stablecoin access, and settlement services. The Arc network currently boasts over 100 ecosystem and institutional builders on its private mainnet.
