Circle Powers AI Agents with USDC via Agent Stack

Circle has launched its Agent Stack, a suite of tools designed to make USDC the default currency for AI agents. The stack's four main components include Circle CLI, which provides a programmable interface; Agent Wallets, which enable AI agents to hold and manage their own USDC accounts; an Agent Marketplace, where agents can discover services offered by other agents; and Nanopayments, near-instant transactions processed through Circle Gateway.

The ARC token has also been announced, with a successful presale raising $222 million at a $3 billion valuation. The token powers Circle's new Arc blockchain, described as a stablecoin-native Layer-1, where transaction fees are denominated in USDC rather than a volatile native token.
