Circle Powers Tokenized Stocks for Dinari's U.S. Investors
Dinari, a company co-founded by alumni of Stripe and Apple, has announced a partnership with Circle to offer tokenized stocks to U.S. investors. This move aims to change the traditional brokerage model, where buying and selling stocks can be slow and cumbersome.
The platform allows users to hold tokenized shares, known as 'dShares,' which are directly linked to an underlying security held in regulated custody. This preserves traditional rights like voting and native USDC dividends.
Dinari's system uses a wallet-based model, where users can fund accounts instantly with the stablecoin USDC. This allows for instant settlements and enables portfolios to move across supported platforms rather than being locked with a single broker.
The company is seeking to bridge the gap between the $300 billion stablecoin market and the more than $60 trillion U.S. equities market.
