Circle Rolls Out Native USDC and CCTP on X Layer Blockchain

Circle has completed the integration of native USDC and its Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) on X Layer, OKX's Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain. This move marks a significant upgrade from bridged USDC to direct Circle-issued tokens.

The transition eliminates the need for liquidity pools and bridge operators, which means that users can access native USDC without relying on intermediaries.

X Layer has been assigned domain identifier 37 within Circle's CCTP framework, making it a recognized destination in the protocol's cross-chain routing system.
