Circle Sees Revenue Shift Amid $4B Redemptions and Doubled Other Income Outlook
Circle's second-quarter earnings have revealed a significant shift in its revenue dynamics. Despite gross USDC redemptions exceeding mints by about $4 billion, the company's reserve income grew 5% to $667.7 million due to a larger average balance.
The reserve yield fell to 3.5%, while Circle's reserve engine absorbed a tough second quarter. However, the biggest opportunity for Circle sits outside its reserves, with the company doubling its full-year other revenue outlook to $310-330 million.
This revised range includes recognized ARC Token presale revenue, which was undisclosed in the earnings release. The estimated proceeds from two ARC Token closings total about $242.25 million, but the breakdown of this contribution is not provided.
