Circle Shares Bounce Despite Revenue Miss
Circle Internet Group, the company behind the USDC stablecoin, saw its shares rise by over 5% in premarket trading despite missing analyst expectations for both revenue and USDC issuance during Q2 2026. The stock price reached approximately $66.70.
The company reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $701.3 million, below the estimated $712.3 million forecast by analysts. USDC issuance was also lower than expected at approximately $83 billion, falling short of expectations of $88.8 billion.
Investors appeared focused on Circle's broader growth strategy and its position in the stablecoin market, rather than the weaker-than-anticipated figures. This suggests that some investors may be looking beyond short-term earnings performance and evaluating the company's long-term opportunities as stablecoins become more widely adopted.
