Circle Shares Rise as Investors Focus on Long-Term Stablecoin Growth
Circle Internet Group's shares rose over 5% in premarket trading despite the company missing analyst expectations for both revenue and USDC issuance in Q2 2026. The stock reached approximately $66.70, up from earlier market activity.
The company reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $701.3 million, below the estimated $712.3 million forecast by analysts. Circle also reported USDC issuance of approximately $83 billion, falling short of expectations of $88.8 billion.
Investors appeared focused on Circle's broader growth strategy, its position in the stablecoin market, and the increasing role of digital dollars in global financial systems. This suggests that some investors may be looking beyond short-term earnings performance and instead evaluating Circle's long-term opportunities as stablecoins become more widely adopted.
