Circle Stock CRCL Stabilizes Above Key EMAs Amid Payments Business Expansion
The price of Circle's tokenized stock (CRCL) remains above key exponential moving averages (EMAs), indicating its recent recovery may be sustained. This comes as the company expands its payments business through an acquisition.
Circle acquired Tazapay, a Singapore-based B2B payments platform that processes over $25 billion in annual payment volume. The deal will enable Circle to increase USDC adoption, particularly in cross-border transactions, and expand its presence in emerging markets like Asia-Pacific.
According to technical analysis, CRCL trades above the 20-day EMA ($88.08) and 50-day EMA ($81.88), but below its 200-day EMA at $95.44, which may act as resistance if the rally continues.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) currently stands at 56.21, indicating buying strength, although a decline below 50 would signal reduced momentum.
