Circle Stock Surges Ahead of Arc Blockchain Launch, But Growth Risks Loom
Circle (CRCL) stock has rebounded to its highest level since June 22, reaching $83.13 and gaining about 43% from its lowest point this year.
The recovery comes as cryptocurrencies are on the rise, with Bitcoin moving toward a resistance area and the total cryptocurrency market value rising to around $2.3 trillion.
Circle plans to launch its Arc Layer 1 blockchain on September 16, which has already processed over 502 million transactions and recorded more than 2.8 million transacting wallets in testnet activity.
However, growth concerns are creeping in as the USDC market capitalization fell to $72.4 billion from above $80 billion earlier this year, leading analysts to expect slower revenue growth.
