Circle's second-quarter earnings report shows that the company posted $701 million in revenue and reserve income, up 7% from last year. The stablecoin issuer attributed this growth to increased USDC adoption, with transaction volume jumping 151% to $14.8 trillion.

USDC circulation also reached a record high of $73.3 billion at the end of the quarter, representing a 19% increase from the same period last year. The company minted $83 billion of USDC during the quarter and redeemed $87 billion, with each dollar of supply moving more frequently.

Circle's CEO, Jeremy Allaire, stated that near-term activity tells a different story than the current rate environment and a slowed crypto market. He added that the company has built the platform for the internet financial system and is only beginning to see what it unlocks.

The company also announced plans to launch its institutional blockchain network, Arc, on September 16. Over 100 institutions and developers are already involved in the project, which includes privacy tools and support for tokenized real-world assets.
