Circle's Net Income Surpasses Estimates, CRCL Stock Price Slips
The CRCL stock price has taken a hit in the pre-market session, erasing most of its gains from the previous day. This comes despite Circle's net income exceeding Wall Street estimates.
Circle reported mixed earnings results for Q2 FY26, with revenue at $701 million slightly below expectations but earnings per share coming in at $0.18, beating consensus estimates of $0.17. Net income reached $48 million, ahead of expectations of $45.8 million.
However, analysts at Mizuho maintained their 'Underperform' rating on the CRCL stock and kept its price target at $45. They argued that recent operating trends remain concerning, citing a decline in USDC circulation, 31% drop in on-chain transaction volumes, and margin pressure across the business.
