Citi Revives Bullish Case for Bitcoin as AlphaPepe Presale Raises Over $2 Million
A major bank's revival of its bullish case for Bitcoin has sparked renewed optimism about the cryptocurrency's price prospects. According to Citi, Bitcoin could reach $82,000 in 2026, a target that is roughly a quarter higher than current levels.
The bank attributes this potential gain to factors such as returning ETF demand, clearer regulation, and steady institutional accumulation.
Meanwhile, the presale of AlphaPepe, another cryptocurrency, has raised over $2.12 million in Stage 19 at a price of $0.02224 per token. The team behind AlphaPepe is promising an AI-assisted co-pilot for swapping called AlphaSwap, which is already live with thousands of demo users.
The bank's constructive case for Bitcoin is grounded in its ability to recover the ground it lost, but this would still represent a relatively modest gain given the asset's current value. In contrast, AlphaPepe offers a potentially much larger reward for those willing to take on more risk.
