CLARITY Act Delay Won't Slow Crypto Adoption, Says Coinbase CEO

Share

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong believes that the delay of the CLARITY Act will not slow down cryptocurrency adoption. The Senate postponed the vote until September after negotiations failed to produce an agreement.

Armstrong pointed out that despite the delay, companies and consumers are already adopting digital assets at a rapid pace. He cited increased stablecoin use, developing markets for tokenized real-world assets, and broader access to perpetual futures as evidence of this trend.

The Coinbase CEO also emphasized that regulators are providing greater clarity in some areas, which is allowing companies to build products under existing rules.
