CLARITY Act Nears Approval: Stablecoin Regulations Set to Boost Circle and Hyperliquid
The CLARITY Act is set to provide much-needed clarity on stablecoin regulations in the US, and experts predict it will benefit companies like Circle and Hyperliquid.
According to former Barclays CEO Bob Diamond, the act is likely to pass by the end of 2026. He believes this will reduce legal uncertainty for stablecoin issuers and enable them to expand their products.
Circle's USDC stablecoin is already dominant in compliant markets, thanks in part to its partnership with Coinbase and Circle's token stake. Hyperliquid also aims to attract institutional traders through these partnerships.
However, the bill's passage is not guaranteed, and Hyperliquid faces stiff competition in a rapidly evolving trading space.
