Clarity Act Odds Slashed as Senate Faces Deadline

Galaxy Research has reduced its odds of the Clarity Act passing in the US Senate to 30%, citing time constraints. This legislation aims to redefine consumer protection in the crypto space.

The latest draft of the Clarity Act, published on July 22 by Senate Republicans, was met with opposition from a group of Democratic senators. They argued that its provisions would lead to DOJ overreach in enforcement.

This development comes as Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon expressed support for the Clarity Act despite acknowledging its imperfections.
