Clarity Act On Hold: Analyst Warns of Near-Term Risks for XRP, XLM & HBAR
Financial analyst Levi Rietveld predicts that the U.S. Clarity Act is unlikely to pass before the summer recess, or even by the end of 2026.
The Senate has three days left to vote on the bill, which needs 60 votes to pass.
Rietveld notes that while 53 Republicans support the bill, not enough Democratic senators are willing to back it.
He attributes this disagreement to a broader fight over cryptocurrency's role in finance.
The analyst also warns of near-term challenges from Federal Reserve rate hikes, oil-related inflation, and geopolitical uncertainty surrounding the Strait of Hormuz.
Rietveld expects these pressures to impact XRP, XLM, and HBAR, potentially creating a 'last final' major buying opportunity for investors.
