The Senate's consideration of the Digital Asset Market CLARITY Act is at a crucial stage. A vote on Friday is possible, but only if the Senate leadership moves for cloture on Wednesday.

Crypto analyst Ted Pillows warns that any delay in filing cloture would leave 'very little time' for senators to debate the legislation before their August recess. He stated, 'If Senate leadership waits until Wednesday to file cloture, a procedural step required to move the bill forward, the earliest vote would likely be Friday.'

Chainlink Senior Director of Communications Chris Barrett suggests that a vote this week remains possible. He noted, 'The cloture vote on Clarity Act has not been ruled out for this week.' However, he also clarified that it hasn't been scheduled or confirmed yet.
