CleanCore Abandons Dogecoin, Dives into AI Infrastructure with $100 Million Raise
CleanCore Solutions, Inc., (ZONE) has abandoned its Dogecoin treasury strategy and shifted focus to building AI infrastructure. The company's stock price has been plummeting, hitting a new all-time low of $0.1513 after the announcement.
In a significant move, CleanCore sold 463 million DOGE tokens for $33.4 million on July 20, effectively exiting its crypto portfolio. Notably, Dogecoin itself remained unaffected by the sell-off, trading steadily around $0.0917.
To finance its new strategy, CleanCore raised $100 million through a public offering of common stock and warrants, increasing the number of shares outstanding by 122% to 502.1 million. The company plans to use the proceeds to accelerate construction on two data centers: a 200-megawatt facility in West Texas and a highly reliable 40-megawatt Tier 3 data center in Minnesota.
