CleanCore Exits Dogecoin Treasury, Redirects Funds to AI Infrastructure
CleanCore Solutions has exited its Dogecoin treasury after selling substantially all of its 463 million DOGE holdings for about $33.4 million on July 20.
The proceeds from the sale have been redirected towards CleanCore's AI infrastructure business, which is a significant departure from the company's previous focus on Dogecoin.
CleanCore had raised $175 million through a private investment in public equity (PIPE) to make Dogecoin its primary treasury reserve asset last year. However, the company has now sold off most of its holdings and plans to move away from both its cleaning products operations and its previously announced Dogecoin treasury strategy.
The sale is part of CleanCore's efforts to refocus on building AI infrastructure in the United States, with a recent agreement establishing a joint venture for an approximately 55-megawatt data center in Minnesota. The company has also priced a $100 million stock offering, which has increased its outstanding shares by about 121.9% to 502.1 million.
