CleanCore Exits Dogecoin Treasury to Fund AI Infrastructure Push
CleanCore has exited its Dogecoin (DOGE) treasury, selling substantially all of its 463 million DOGE on July 20 for approximately $33.4 million at an average price of about $0.072 per DOGE.
The company redirected the proceeds towards AI infrastructure as part of a strategic pivot away from the meme asset. This move is not isolated, as corporate treasuries are increasingly reallocating crypto reserves toward AI-driven Web3 infrastructure.
CleanCore's decision to exit its DOGE position in full rather than trimming over time limits downside exposure if meme coin liquidity dries up but also removes any upside exposure if DOGE catches another speculative bid.
The company completed a $100 million stock offering, increasing shares outstanding by about 122% to 502.1 million, which is a substantial dilution event for a small-cap issuer. The filing notes additional warrants could create further dilution, making the fully diluted picture less clear.
