CleanCore Signs $800M AI Contract, Abandons Dogecoin Focus
CleanCore Solutions has signed an $800 million contract with Cerebras Systems for a 10-year colocation agreement. This significant deal marks a major pivot for CleanCore, which is known in the cryptocurrency world for holding a large amount of Dogecoin (DOGE). The company has committed to investing $40 million as initial funding, with the possibility of investing up to $500 million in the entire project.
This contract is not related to new cryptocurrency initiatives but rather focuses on AI data center infrastructure business. CleanCore's CEO, Tyler Hassen, stated that the company is shifting away from its previous strategy of holding Dogecoin as a company treasury.
The move suggests that publicly listed companies are adapting their strategies to incorporate emerging technologies like AI. The contract with Cerebras Systems places CleanCore at the forefront of this trend, which has been gaining momentum in the stock market.
