CleanCore Signs $800M AI Deal With Cerebras Amid Funding Concerns
CleanCore Solutions, the company behind popular cleaning products and a significant Dogecoin (DOGE) holder, has made a major move into AI infrastructure. The firm signed an $800 million contract with Cerebras for a 10-year colocation deal in Minnesota. This agreement includes optional renewals that could push the total value above $3 billion.
The project will cost approximately $479 million to build, and CleanCore has agreed to contribute up to $500 million toward it. The company owns 79% of the joint venture running the project, with a first payment of $40 million split into two parts: $25 million at closing and up to $15 million within four business days.
CleanCore's finances are a concern, as the company had only about $4.1 million in cash and an accumulated deficit of roughly $169 million as of March 31. The firm has stated ongoing doubts about its ability to continue operating without more funding. CleanCore holds a large Dogecoin treasury worth approximately $44.3 million.
The company's plans for funding the project are unclear, but it has said that if it cannot meet its commitments, its ownership stake in the joint venture could be reduced. Other parties in the deal cannot sue CleanCore or force it to pay more.
