CleanCore's $100M AI Pivot Comes with Massive Share Dilution and Funding Uncertainty
CleanCore, a cleaning firm, has made a significant pivot in its business strategy by shifting its focus towards AI infrastructure. The company issued 275.8 million shares as part of a $100 million stock offering, which increased its common shares outstanding from 226.3 million to 502.1 million.
The net proceeds from the offering are estimated to be around $92 million, which will be used to fund CleanCore's AI infrastructure segment. The company also sold substantially all of its Dogecoin (DOGE) assets on July 20 for approximately $33.4 million, using the proceeds for the same purpose.
CleanCore's shares outstanding have increased by 121.9% due to the stock offering, and another 524.2 million shares are possible with the exercise of warrants. The company has also committed up to $500 million in Minnesota venture commitments, which will be used to fund its AI infrastructure project.
CleanCore's balance sheet shows a cash balance of $4.1 million as of March 31, and restricted cash totaling $13 million. However, the exact current cash balance is not disclosed after the DOGE sale and offering.
