CleanSpark Bitcoin Production Surges Amid Lower Hash Rate
CleanSpark's Bitcoin production rose to 593 BTC in August, despite a decline in average hash rate. The miner sold 821 BTC during the month, pushing its treasury holdings down by 228 BTC.
The company mined seven more BTC than July's 586 BTC while selling 242 more coins than the previous month. Its holdings consequently fell to 13,703 BTC from 13,931 BTC.
According to Luxor's Hashrate Index analysis, the monthly hash price averaged $34.63 per petahash per day in August, up from $31.21 in July. The August average was the highest recorded since May.
